Director's Corner: July 2010

Week 4

Tuesday, July 20, 2010  by erik

Dear Parents,
A very successful first session is rapidly coming to a close.  I am looking forward to welcoming all of you to Holiday Hill Day Camp on Wednesday for Parents’ Day.  Our campers are looking forward to showing off their swimming, tennis and horseback skills, among many others, which they have been developing over the past few weeks.
Later this week, campers who are interested may participate in our Basketball Skills Clinic.  Over sixty campers have signed up thus far.
To those campers who will be leaving us after the first session, we thank you for joining us and wish you a happy and successful school year.  For those who are joining us next session, we have many exciting activities planned, including Carnival, Talent Show and our exciting three-day Olympics.
If you are interested in having your children extend their stay at camp, please stop by and see us on Parents’ Day or call us anytime.
Erik

Week 1

Monday, July 05, 2010  by erik

Dear Parents,

Our first exciting week of camp for the 2010 season has come and gone!

We are all looking forward to our Team Rally on Tuesday, July 6th.  Campers are encouraged to wear t-shirts and hats sporting their favorite team logos.  My personal favorites are the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and Boston Bruins.  I look forward to seeing what teams your children will be representing!

Camp photos will be taken on Thursday, July 8th and Friday, July 9th.  Please look for the order forms which will be in your campers’ backpacks.

I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce an exciting new addition to our staff.  Andrew is our new drama instructor.  He is inspiring our young campers through his creativity and enthusiasm.

Please check back during the upcoming weeks for the latest news on camp events.  As always, I welcome your comments, questions and feedback.

Erik
